The calculator

Everything you type into the calculator stays in your browser unless you use the live lookup described below. We do not receive it otherwise. The page stores your scenario in your browser's local storage so it is there on your next visit; clear site data in your browser to remove it. Share links contain your scenario inside the link. Anyone you send a link to can see those numbers. Settings files are downloaded to your device and never uploaded.

The live lookup

Detailed mode has a button that looks up search volume and cost per click. It is off until you click it. When you do, the keywords, questions and prompts that have no volume yet are sent to our server, which passes them to DataForSEO, a search data provider, to fetch Google Ads figures for the market you chose. Nothing else from your scenario is sent. A Cloudflare Turnstile check runs in the page first to keep bots out; it loads a script from Cloudflare and sends Cloudflare a token and your IP address to confirm you are a person. Our server keeps a count of lookups per visitor for two days, stored against a hashed form of the IP address, so no one can use up the daily allowance for everyone else. The answer for a given list of phrases is kept for 30 days so a repeat lookup costs nothing; that stored answer is not linked to you. Analytics

We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and a few button clicks (share, print, save, load, detailed mode, lookup). Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not receive any of the numbers you enter. Its data processing is described at plausible.io/data-policy.

Contact form

If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you send. We use them to reply and for nothing else. Messages are delivered through Resend, an email provider, and stored in our mailbox. Ask us to delete a message and we will.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse under its own privacy policy.
